I am sorry Annie, but Walter Reed cannot accept mail that is not specifically addressed to an individual. This has been an internet hoax for many many years.

However, cards can be sent to service members via the "Holiday Mail for Heroes" campaign operated by the American Red Cross. Web site (http://www.wramc.amedd.army.mil) contains information about the “Holiday Mail for Heroes” program. You can also visit http://www.redcross.org/holidaymail to learn more.

or Lets Say Thanks at http://www.LetsSayThanks.com

It is ALWAYS wonderful to remember our Soldiers. Thanks for the reminder Annie!

My cards never return and it makes me sad to know they are just thrown away!

Thanks for the update and I'll do some more!!!
